Remote Learning Modules for Grades K-8
FREE VIDEO CONFERENCE
Wednesday, May 27th
3:00pm - 3:45pm (EST)
The strain and duress endured by school systems and individual educators as a result of the pandemic have been immeasurable. As an organization comprised primarily of educators, Schoolwide first and foremost applauds educator's extraordinary efforts and thanks you for all that you have done.
Description:
The need for distance learning solutions was unexpectedly forced upon schools under the most trying of circumstances and without adequate time to prepare. In an effort to support schools facing such a dilemma, Schoolwide engaged its team of literacy experts to develop a series of cohesive and standards-aligned remote learning modules that can be implemented as-needed in both print and/or digital form.
During the presentation we will be discussing the elements required for effective distance teaching and learning, including:
- Convenient access to standards-aligned instructional resources (e.g., lessons and assessments) and engaging literature in organized and easily distributable print and digital formats.
- Flexible options for teachers to easily modify or adapt resources to meet the varying learning needs of their students.
- Professional development support for teachers in a distance learning environment
